Bonfire Pit Rentals – Terms of Service

1. Legal Entity Notice

Bonfire Pit Rentals is a doing business as (DBA) name of Sdchecklist LLC, a California Limited Liability Company. All services, communications, payments, and legal responsibilities are held under Sdchecklist LLC.

2. Service Overview

Bonfire Pit Rentals provides fully equipped, hassle-free beach bonfire setups, including fire pits, tiki torches, chairs, tables, lighting, games, and other outdoor leisure equipment. By booking our service, you agree to all terms herein and confirm that the Booking Party is at least 18 years old.

3. Customer Responsibilities

By booking, the customer agrees that:

-They are solely responsible for ensuring their event complies with all city, state, and beach regulations, including curfews, fire laws, alcohol restrictions, and required permits.

-Bonfire Pit Rentals is a third-party setup service only and is not responsible for any citations, fines, or shutdowns issued by local authorities for noncompliance.

-The Booking Party accepts full responsibility for the actions and safety of their guests during the rental.

Customer Availability

Customers are responsible for being available by phone on the day of the event if assistance is needed locating the setup or coordinating a requested meeting location. Bonfire Pit Rentals is not responsible for delays resulting from a customer's inability to provide an accurate location or respond to communications.

4. Equipment Use & Liability

All equipment provided by Bonfire Pit Rentals must be treated with care and returned in the same condition.

-The customer is financially responsible for any damaged, lost, or stolen equipment. The card on file will be charged for repair or replacement costs of any such items.

-Any excessive cleanup (trash, burn marks, food/beverage spills) may result in an additional cleaning fee.

Equipment Verification

Customers are responsible for reviewing the setup upon arrival. Any missing equipment or setup concerns must be reported immediately so we have the opportunity to correct the issue. Reports made after the event or at pickup may not be eligible for refunds or credits.

5. Final Reservation Details, Changes & Location Confirmation

A Final Reservation Confirmation is sent the day before every event to verify and confirm all final reservation details. This is the customer's opportunity to review and request any final changes, including:

*Setup location & special instructions

*Event start and end time

*Equipment add-ons or exchanges

*Other reservation details

Once confirmed, all reservation details are final. If no changes are communicated the day before the reservation start date, the reservation will proceed using the confirmed details.

Same-day changes to the setup location, event time, reservation duration, equipment, or add-ons cannot be guaranteed and are generally not available. Once our team has completed the setup, the reservation cannot be relocated to another area of the beach or park.

For requests requiring a specific setup location, the customer must be available to meet our team in person and subject upon our arrival time, which may be several hours before the event start time. If the customer is unavailable to meet in person based on our arrival time, we reserve the right to set up at the nearest suitable available location.

Beach and park conditions may require slight adjustments from the requested location. Our team will set up at the closest safe and available location within the requested area.

The confirmed setup location is approximate and subject to availability at the time of setup within the selected beach or park area. A final pin location and setup photos will be sent via text message once ready before the scheduled event start time.

No Guaranteed Specific Location

Due to the nature of public service areas, beach conditions, crowds, weather, lifeguard restrictions, construction, city closures, or other factors beyond our control , we cannot guarantee an exact location within a beach or park. For specific locations, Customers must coordinate in-person with our setup team and is subject to our arrival team.

Location Accessibility & Safety

All locations must have safe, direct access. Locations requiring stairs, cliffs, steep slopes, or other unsafe access may be relocated, at Bonfire Pit Rentals' sole discretion, to the nearest safe and accessible location.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

-Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time will receive a full refund.

-Same-Day Cancellations: Cancellations made on the reservation date are eligible for a refund of up to 50%, depending on whether setup has begun or been completed.

-No-Show Policy: No refunds will be issued for no-shows or failure to notify us in advance.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

7. Weather Policy

In the event of unsafe weather conditions (rain, high winds, beach closures), we will:

-Attempt to reschedule your event at no additional cost, or

-Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible.

Final decisions regarding weather-related cancellations are at the discretion of Bonfire Pit Rentals.

8. Force Majeure

Bonfire Pit Rentals is not liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of government, labor disputes, pandemics, or civil unrest.

9. Waiver of Liability

By booking our service, you agree to the following:

-You voluntarily assume all risks associated with outdoor fire activities, including but not limited to injury, property damage, or fire hazards.

-Sdchecklist LLC (DBA Bonfire Pit Rentals) shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during the event, whether caused by equipment failure, environmental conditions, or participant behavior.

-You release and discharge Bonfire Pit Rentals and its employees from all claims and liabilities arising from or related to your event.

10. Communication & SMS Opt-In

By booking or submitting an inquiry, you consent to receive SMS messages and email notifications regarding:

-Reservation confirmations

-Arrival instructions

-Payment reminders

-Promotions or discounts

You may opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message.
